Immediately follow with a facial moisturiser to lock in hydration

After cleansing, quickly follow with a facial moisturiser to help immediately hydrate and lock in vital moisture. During the day, it is also recommended to use a facial SPF moisturiser with sun protection, such as Cetaphil Daily Defence Moisturiser SPF50+, to deliver nourishing hydration and protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for oily skin without drying it out I suffer with oily and blemish prone skin and I'm always on the look out for a cleanser that is effective. I have been really impressed with this cleanser . Firstly it's a large bottle and a little goes a long way so it will last a long time so it's good value for money. I also like that it has a pump dispenser so it dispenses just the right amount of product . The cleanser is a clear gel like consistency that turns to a little foam when water is added to the hands . It applies well to my face and foams enough without it being too much foam . It has a light fresh scent . After rinsing off my face is left cleansed , refreshed but without feeling dry or stripped . It helps keep oil at bay throughout the day and is effective .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changing I have looked at this brand before but never really thought it was for my oily skin, but this product is a brilliant at a budget cost. I wasn't sure when I first started using it as my skin was tight and dry but after about 5 days it really came into my own, my oiliness reduced and I haven't seen a blemish in over a week! I can't believe I have never tried it before now, my skin looks so fresh and it feels so clean which is lovely after a long day. I love that it has a pump on it, as you get exactly as much as you need without waste. This bottle will go a long way too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good cleaner I have sensitive combination skin and I easily get breakouts. I am very happy that this cleanser worked beautifully on my skin. I had no adverse reactions. The feel is quite pleasant. My skin feels soft and plump. The only downside is that I notice shine on my skin within hours of washing which I wish could have been reduced.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Such a shame :((( So disappointed! I have been using the original formula for years (as have other reviewers) as recommended by a dermatologist. I always loved that it was perfume-free, which I had started taking for granted. I recently needed to stock up on cetaphil face wash, and I wish I had gone for the "gentle" cleanser instead. I picked up this one because the packaging was similar to the old cleanser I had been using. I agree, this definitely reduces the oily feeling on my face, but at the cost of making the skin feel dry and tight, with a soapy smell under my nose that sits there for hours (and that's when I use a pea size amount, no exaggeration!!) I really hope the developers change the recipie back asap.

This is a product in which I’ve now been using as a teenager on my combination skin and one which I keep coming back to despite trialling other products. A lot of cleansers leave my skin feeling very dry and flakey afterwards however this one always leaves it feeling not only thoroughly cleansed but also hydrated for the day ahead. I also use this on my bald head as opposed to a shampoo or conditioner as it cleanses much more gently but still buffs away the buildup. Would highly recommend for anyone with combination skin like myself and also for a first skincare product for a teenager.

However, I do like the Cetaphil cream for dry skin so thought I'd give this a try, especially since I do have oily skin. It smells divine and a little can go a long way. I have used this every day for about a week, twice a day. It's helped minimise my enlarged pores and removed the oils from my skin. It's sensitive on the skin so doesn't cause any irritation which is a positive for me. I love this and would recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula is awful!! Used the old formula for years it was perfect for my sensitive skin and stopped me from getting breakouts. I've only just run out of the old formula so tried the new formula expecting the same results if not even better given the new and improved ingredients but I am very disappointed, my skin is terrible after a few washes, its red, its blotchy and bumpy in texture. I will not be using again. Why change something that was so good? Or at least offer both versions. I've used this for over 20 years but I wont be buying again now. Does anyone have any other recommendations?
