What is Cetaphil?

Cetaphil is a range of gentle, dermatologically tested and pH-balanced products that have helped people care for their skin for over 70 years. It was developed by experts and is trusted by dermatologists, celebrities and beauty insiders worldwide. The Cetaphil range of products help all skin types to achieve optimum condition by being better equipped to defend against moisture loss and withstand external irritation.

Is Cetaphil right for me?

Cetaphil products are designed to be gentle and effective on even the most sensitive skin. This means that whether you have generally normal skin, or have a skin condition such as acne, rosacea or eczema, Cetaphil respects your skin and can provide the cleansing, moisturising and protection that your skin needs.

Where is Cetaphil produced?

Cetaphil has a number of different production facilities to provide products to the different markets around the world. The products for the UK are currently made in either France, Switzerland or Canada. The information on the back of pack or on the outer carton should provide details of where a product has been made.

Do Cetaphil products expire?

Cetaphil Products in the UK include a standard expiry indicator shown on their packaging, which indicates how many months you have to use it once it has been opened.

Are any Cetaphil products paraben-free?

All our UK products are compliant with EU safety regulations for permitted ingredients in cosmetic products. There are products in the Cetaphil range in the UK that do not contain parabens in the formulation: Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion 236 ml/473 ml and Cetaphil Moisturising Hand Cream.

Are the ingredients used in Cetaphil safe?

Cetaphil products are fully compliant with the current EU and local market safety regulations for cosmetic products, and have been tested under dermatological supervision to be non-irritating, non-sensitising and suitable for their intended uses. Is Cetaphil suitable for vegans?

Cetaphil products do not consist of any animal-derived ingredients and are not tested on animals.

Does Cetaphil test on animals?

In line with EU regulations for cosmetic products, no tests on animals are performed on the Cetaphil range of products.

Is Cetaphil packaging recyclable?

Where local recycling facilities exist, Cetaphil packaging may be recycled. Please see recycling symbols and information provided on the packaging.

Cetaphil products can currently be purchased in selected Boots, Superdrug, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Lloyds Pharmacy and independent pharmacy stores as well as online from Boots.com, Superdrug.com, Sainsburys.com, Amazon.co.uk, Tesco.com and Ocado.co.uk.
